Beautiful park, great trails for everyone, so much fun!
We took a brief hike up the Falls Trail and back the Gorge train and enjoyed the entire route! Our little pup came along and was leashed the whole time, as is required in the park.
We saw a few other bikers on the trail, but it wasn't crowded. The sun and air were hot but the breeze and shade were cool. We even saw a bunch of different fungi around the forest floor! It was the perfect day for a hike in NEPA
Absolutely beautiful park to spend the day at. Gorgeous waterfalls basically at the entrance of the park. Trails that dip and weave into the forest on clearly marked paths. Lots to see and plenty of photo opportunities. Plenty of parking and restrooms on site. Meticulously maintained. Absolute must stop at if you are in the area.
Nice park, probably good place for camping. Had problem to find the entrance to the blue and red trail ( tip: you have to go through caming site and check for blue arrow on your left). The tails marked more or less good. Have a good hike!
It is a great state park with a variety of options to explore. There are several trails and multiple waterfalls, camping areas, benches/resting areas, and a fenced-in garden. Parts of the trails are a little more difficult in steepness and the amount of roots & rocks. There are also areas within the trails that are get flooded easily, so hiking boots/good footwear is recommended. Due to the number of bugs, I would highly recommend being bug spray.
Quite pretty here. Good trail system, well marked. The falls are good even with little rain. One of the trails is impassable but otherwise good. The bathrooms were clean too, so a plus.
A gorgeous park with lots of hiking trail options! There are some very cool large boulders a bit off the path, up a steep hill. If you are up for the challenge, it's worth climbing up and exploring them. There is a gorgeous view at the top.
We found a few tiny orange salamanders on our hike, which I just wanted to share a picture of.
The waterfalls are very gorgeous as well. I'd love to revisit in the summer when I can walk in the water.
Always beautiful and a great hike with fantastic views! Went for the first time in a few months today and we were excited to see the new bridge over the gorge for easier access to the Hemlock Trail. What a great gift to the community 😊 …
We love this place. We walk through the woods from my parents house. Never a bad time. Waterfalls are beautiful.
